Job Context
- The IT Manager (Head of Department) is part of the RSC`s senior management team and heads the IT Department. The role reports to the Managing Director of the RSC and is based in the RSC office in Dhaka.
- The role is primarily responsible for creation and execution of the overall IT strategy covering key aspects of IT infrastructure, IT security & compliances, IT applications and transformation aimed at ensuring smooth functioning of the RSC. The role would require evaluating and adopt the latest software, platforms and infrastructure that help the RSC to become more efficient and productive going forward. In addition, the role is primarily responsible for identifying current and future data gathering and storage requirements, as well as ensuring smooth technical functioning of the current platforms like Fair Factory Cleaning (FFC) & Factory Group Research (FGR) tracker.
Job Responsibilities
- Support in designing and implementing short and long-term strategies to realize the overall organizational vision, ensure the infrastructure capacity meets the existing needs, and support the organization’s growth
- Plan, build, and lead a competent team & talents to support and execute infrastructure projects & operations
- Implement and operate an IT service management system to deliver the highest level of services meeting desired quality and customer acceptance criteria
- Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development initiatives
- Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, the scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated tasks
- Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services
- Develop & implement information security processes, policies, standards, compliance requirements, and solutions
- Protect the organizational information assets from any kind of intrusion and security threat
- Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions
- Do operational planning & designing the process to reduce MTTR and Maximize MTBF with security
- Initiate and drive an awareness program to establish information security as a culture in the organization
- Communicate with the business partners and enforce SLA & OLA
- Direct and administrate a contingent of IT people, conduct performance reviews and inspire them to deliver the highest standard of IT services to internal and external customers
- Develop plans and supervises training program for new joiners & ensure that a career path is defined for their technical and organizational development
- Team Development:
- Develop and manage team members performance, drive technical excellence.
- Coach, mentor guide and train all current and new team members
- Act as technical expert resource for other team members

Additional Requirements
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): AWSAzure Cloud Administration, Cloud Platform, Data center, Database management System, ERP Implementation, Network Administration, Network Security
- Ability to Work Under Pressure, Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to multitask, Team leading ability
- ITIL / COBIT / PMP / Prince2 certification will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in user-level IT system management
- Exposure to domain control, Google workspace management, and Microsoft 365 management.
- Experience in managing website hosting, web application management, and hands-on experience in managing any CMS
- Experience in managing cloud platforms like Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
- Exposure to implementing and managing Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Infrastructure dimensioning, Data Centers, Cloud environment, complex Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN environment, large-scale database, and mission-critical systems.
- Clear concept and implementation level knowledge of network and system security.
- Hands-on experience in implementing firewalls, WAF, security policy management, end-user security management, and protection against cyber threats.
